Mr Kieran Jefferson
MA(Cantab) BMBCh(Oxon) FRCS (Urol)
Mr Jefferson has been a consultant urological surgeon at University Hospital Coventry since 2006. He trained in medicine at Cambridge & Oxford Universities, representing Oxford as an oarsman. He undertook surgical & urological training in Bristol and the Southwestern Deanery. In 1999 he achieved the highest mark in Europe for the European Board of Urology In-service Examination. He has been on the Specialist Register for Urology since 2006.
After completing his training, he undertook a uro-oncology fellowship in Bristol. In 2014, with Mr MacDonald, he started a robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) service in Coventry & Warwickshire. They have performed more than 1500 RARP.

Mr Jefferson chaired the West Midlands expert advisory group for urological cancer from 2013-2018.

Mr Donald MacDonald
MA(Cantab) BMBCh(Oxon) FRCS (Urol)
Mr MacDonald has been a consultant urological surgeon at University Hospital Coventry since 2012. He was a senior scholar at Caius College, Cambridge and won the John B Pearce Memorial Prize in Surgery at Oxford Universiy Medical School. He returned to Cambridge to teach anatomy, before basic surgical training at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School in London. Two years of research into bladder cancer at University College London was rewarded with the Guy Baines Gold Medal. His specialist urological training took place in the Midlands.
Since appointment he has introduced Da Vinci robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP), prostate mapping biopsy and orthotopic neobladder surgery. UHCW is a National Reference Centre for MRI-TRUS fusion biopsy.

Mr Rajagopalan Sriram
MBBS FRCS(Urol)
Mr Sriram has been a consultant urological surgeon at University Hospital Coventry since 2002, having trained in urology in the West
Midlands deanery and achieved specialist registration in 2001.
He obtained his MBBS & Masters in Surgery degrees from the University of Madras After gaining the FRCS(Ed) and the University of London Diploma of Urology, he joined the West Midlands urology training scheme. He was awarded the highest score in the European Board of Urology examination in 2001.
His specialist interests are incontinence, bladder cancer, neuro-urology and urodynamics. He is lead clinician for continence services at UHCW and has extensive (and positive) experience of mesh sling procedures and intravesical BOTOX.
Mr Sriram has trained many consultants to perform continence procedures and Botox injections. He is an educational supervisor for University of Warwick medical students.
